100 job positions for Emiratis in Etihad Airways

As many as 100 attractive job positions are on offer for the UAE nationals, Etihad Airways Group announced.

The announcement came at an open day organised by the group in collaboration with the Fujairah Department of Human Resources at the Amiri Court here on Wednesday.

The move is part of the UAE national carrier’s commitment to providing rewarding job opportunities and a promising professional future for Emiratis, according to the Fujairah Human Resources Department’s website.

The appointees will enjoy a set of benefits, which are seen in study for three years, the first in Abu Dhabi and the second and third years, abroad. The employee will draw a basic monthly salary of Dh25,000 in the first year of the study, Dh27,000 in the second year and Dh30,000 in the third year, Etihad Airways said.

Those who meet with the conditions will be appointed, after graduation, at a company’s branch in the post of sales manager at a monthly salary of Dh33,000, which may increase as per the performance. The employee will also get other benefits including Dh30,000 as allowance for education of children in primary school.

Other benefits include health insurance, accommodation allowance, cost of living allowance as well as one Etihad Airways free air ticket for him plus free 10 air tickets for his parents and friends, the Etihad Airways Group said. According to the conditions set by the group, the male and female applicants should be holders of  High Diploma, graduates or equivalent degree holders. The applicant’s age should not be more than 27, and should be proficient in English, both writing and speaking, and should have the interest to work outside the country.

Hundreds of applicants for various jobs were interviewed on Wednesday, and the results will be announced soon, the group added.
