2011 Royal Air Tattoo

» Announcements | Air News Times | Tuesday, May 17, 2011
It promises to be the summer's biggest birthday bash (they tell us!) as they're celebrating the 40th Anniversary of world's greatest air show taking place on July 16-17.

The Royal Air Force's legendary Red Arrows head a list of spectacular aerobatic display teams. Their displays need no introduction and at this year's Air Tattoo they will be joined by hundreds more exciting and colourful aircraft including fast jets, giant transporters, classic warbirds and helicopters in a thrilling flying and static display.

The showground also features an exciting range of interactive activities suitable for all ages including the Ford Liveshow, the Top Gear Experience simulator, motorcycle stunt teams, flight simulators, freestyle mountain bike display teams, children's quad bikes and the world land speed record challenging Bloodhound SSC jet-propelled car (model!).
