It's that wonderful time of year — the holiday gift-giving season. And whether your favorite avgeek is naughty or nice, they will expect to receive an aviation-themed gift from you. So allow me to offer these 10 suggestions, below.  And click here to see my gift suggestions from 2014.

Wing Flap Office Desk. The good folks at Sky Art have all kinds of great aviation-themed furniture, including this desk made from a genuine aircraft wing flap.Tickets to EAA AirVenture 2016. Entry into the world's largest airshow, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is on every avgeek's bucket list. Tickets range from $30 for a single day entry to $118 for a week-long pass.

Classic Ray Ban aviator sunglasses. No avgeek worth their salt would turn down receiving a pair of these sunglasses, produced since 1937. The company even gives you the option of making a customized pair.

Alaska Airlines leather briefcase. The Seattle-based carrier partnered with Canada's Mariclaro to make this piece from repurposed seat covers from a Boeing 737. Mariclaro also offers a passport holder, a billfold and a limited-edition duffle bag.

Boeing 737-8 MAX airplane model. To celebrate the manufacturer unveiling the first MAX jet on December 8, consider buying your avgeek an executive model of this newest variant of an iconic plane.

Taxiway light lamp. Help your favorite avgeek see the light with this 16-inch lamp. It is identical to the taxiway lights used at Clermont County Airport in Batavia, Ohio, home of Sporty’s, which makes the lamp.

Airplane monogrammed cufflinks. This Etsy shop offers these glass cufflinks in silver or gold. They come in a classy black velvet box ready for gift giving.

Airbus A340 cockpit poster.  Threshold Aviation prints a series of cockpit posters, including this one. Your avgeek will feel like he or she is sitting in the cockpit preparing for take-off.

Airplane Geek t-shirt. Let your avgeek flag fly by wearing this 100% cotton "Bona Fide Avgeek" t-shirt from the producers of the Airplane Geek podcast.

Airways magazine subscription. For $49.95, give a year of this great magazine, which offers a great mix of historical and timely aviation/airlines stories from writers around the globe.
