Now, they have delivered three new, interactive, services to customers: Destination Map, Baggage Allowance, and Excess Baggage Calculator. Destination Map the application allows TAP customers to select the route from the map, check the information about the special offers, promotions, read the destination guide and of course book the ticket with the single click.

Baggage Allowance Information gives TAP customers the possibility to calculate how much free baggage they are allowed to take on board. Application developed by Anixecalculates those values in a very sophisticated way taking into the consideration passenger type, route, baggage concept (piece or weight), tier level, different loyalty programs, special bonuses, discounts and much, much more.

Excess Baggage Calculator complements the Baggage Allowance application by calculating the extra cost that passenger will need to pay at the airport for exceeding allowed baggage limits.

“With these new, interactive services powered by Anixe, TAP Portugal expects to enhance travel related self-service tools and promote TAP destinations in an interactive way.” as stated by Ana Machado, Sales/Web development Manager of TAP Portugal.
