Kotil visited Pakistan in order to negotiate an increase in the number of Turkish Airlines flights to the country. “Turkish Airlines currently flies seven times a week to Karachi and Islamabad. We want to increase this number to 28 flights to different cities in Pakistan, and we will speak with Pakistani officials about this,” Kotil said.
Kotil said talks with Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Headquarters had been successful. “We expect our talks to be confirmed shortly, and I will meet with Pakistan’s national carrier PIA’s General Manager Rao Qamar Suleman. Hopefully we will get some positive results,” he said.
