Turkish Technic Joins MRO Network

Turkish Technic, based at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport in Turkey, has joined the worldwide Airbus Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Network.

The Airbus MRO Network is designed to provide customers with a worldwide choice of competitive, quality maintenance services from MRO providers with Airbus aircraft experience. Since its launch in March 2005, Airbus has worked with the MRO Network members to establish performance benchmarks for maintenance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

 

“It gives us great pleasure to welcome Turkish Technic to the Airbus MRO Network” said Didier Lux, Executive Vice President, Airbus Customer Services. “Turkish Technic has decades of experience in maintaining commercial aircraft, and their new maintenance facilities under construction at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport will further enhance the customers’ choice of services in the region.”


“We are delighted to join such an outstanding business network” said Dr. Ismail Demir, General Manager of Turkish Technic. “l believe we will find many opportunities for cooperation and performance benchmarks for important MRO issues in the sector.”

 

Turkish Technic, an association of Turkish Airlines group companies, provides MRO services for Airbus and Boeing airframes, engines, auxiliary power units, landing gear and components. The company serves more than 100 airlines in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, CIS countries with its maintenance centers in Istanbul & Ankara and highly qualified workforce of more than 3,000 personnel.
