Turkish Technic signs Heavy Maintenance Contract for B737-700s with Saudi Aramco

Turkish Technic has signed a heavy maintenance services contract, which covers base maintenance C checks on Boeing 737-700s, including livery painting. The first maintenance work is being carried out at Turkish Technic’s facilities at Istanbul, Turkey.

Turkish Technic stated, “It is an honor to serve the world’s largest fleet of corporate aircraft, carrying employees and supplies to remote parts of the Kingdom. We are constantly striving to become the preferred MRO provider of choice in the Middle East market, and are committed to providing quality services in accordance with the expectations of Saudi Aramco”.

Saudi Aramco’s Aviation Department expressed their trust in Turkish Technic’s quality of services. They are glad to have the support of one of the most powerful MROs in the region.

Turkish Technic, an association of Turkish Airlines group companies, provides MRO services for Airbus and Boeing airframes, engines, auxiliary power units, landing gear and components. The company serves more than 100 airlines in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, CIS countries with its maintenance centers in Istanbul & Ankara and highly qualified workforce of more than 3,000 personnel.

Saudi Aramco’s Aviation Department, based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for maintaining a number of aircraft that play an integral role linking remote production installations and the company’s headquarters. Saudi Arabia’s national oil company, Saudi Aramco is also a fully integrated, global petroleum enterprise and a world leader in exploration, production, refining, distribution, shipping and marketing. It manages the world’s largest proven crude oil reserves of 260.1 billion barrels and the world’s fourth-largest gas reserves with 279 trillion cubic feet.
